Dale E Callender


Dale Callender graduated with honors from Yale University. There, she worked with a foundation that helps middle school students get into elite private schools. Dale has a law degree from New York University, where she was a student representative on the law school Admissions Committee. She was a corporate human resources attorney for many years, and has trained as a coach and mediator.
As a volunteer for Yale’s Alumni Schools Committee, Dale interviewed early admission and regular candidates for Yale’s freshman class. Dale also served as a volunteer college coach for a Yale Alumni Service Corps/College Summit program. Dale is a member of the NJ Association for College Admission Counseling. She is a member of the Board of Trustees at the United Way of Central Jersey.

Melanie Callender is a consultant for College Entry Coaching. She is a practicing psychologist and certified coach. Melanie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and has a PhD. from the City University of New York.

Dale and Melanie are parents who have gone through the time consuming and stressful college admission process not only with their clients, but also with their own children. They know first-hand the challenges faced by every college applicant and their parents.
